Default Launch Control 2017 Audi A3

My girlfriend has a 2017 A3 with the sports package. Is there launch control that can be done on her car? Put in dynamic mode, hold brake, rev to 3K rpm or something and let go of brake? Is there something like this on A3 or just S3?

Thanks ahead

Also need traction control off and shifter in S or manual mode. Left foot brake, right foot full throttle, release brake.

Its in the manual so I think you can do it in the A3. I haven't tried it yet though.

My 2016 has it, so I assume the 2017 would. Engine oil needs to be up to temp for it to work.

Exactly as he said MY16 A3 premium plus has it but the engine temp has to warm up first. If you have some good mods in the car you be surprised how fast it is. With the mods I have I can do 0-60 in 4 seconds flat.

I guess as long as it has a dsg transmission, it should have a proper launch control. My A4 has it but the A7 doesn't because of the torque converter.

I tried it on my 2016 e-tron and it worked, but what's the logic of turning off traction control? I just managed to lose traction, though I got an impressive squeal. It seems like you'd want traction control to prevent wheel spin. Or maybe, I should just be a better driver?

My A4 doesn't squeal at all, even though I disable traction control. You just press on it once. I think to disable TCS, you have to long press the button. I'm not sure though. But I tried launch control on wet, slippery, cold roads and no loss in traction at all. I was impressed.

turning it off increases your time believe it or not. Ive done lunch control with it on and off and have had better timed runs with it totally off. With on the car will automatically adjust if slippage hence it could cost you in time. With it off there are no interruptions to the engine or transmision. Again whatever your preference is or outcome your looking for is what matters
