No sound from door speakers

No sound from door speakers
Hi,
My wife has a nice 2015 A3 sedan with a pretty basic option setup that we got used not too long ago. When cleaning it we noticed that there's no sound coming from the door speakers. At least it looks like there should be speakers there with a grill and all, but I'm not sure if Audi just use the same panels and grills for all cars, and then just pops in the speakers for the higher option stereo packages?
Sound quality is a bit muffled, so I'm thinking there might be a problem. Not sure how the layout of the speakers would be as I can't seem to find any good pictures.
Any suggestions?
