Default S3 peeps, thinking about an S4 in '17?

Maybe it's my age, maybe my taste, maybe wanting a slightly larger car, and I love my S3, but have a feeling that this car is going even more perfect. Thoughts?

I share the feeling. The s4 would also have been a better fit for me however it was just over budget for me. Still love my s3 ...

No regrets -- I love the S3. Specifically I have heard that the S4 is more likely to understeer with that larger, heavier engine up front. The S3 is, for me anyway, just the right size. Enough room and still easy to park and navigate in traffic.

The next time I trade up, it'll be for an S3 (or RS3) with autonomous driving. Hopefully 2018 or 2019.

We try to keep cars a long time. S3 was just what we were looking for a small, sporty car with some luxury features. It's really the same size as our 2012 5dr Focus but for the size of the exterior has an amazing amount of interior room.

We tried an S4,it was very nice but too big for us.

Having had a 2011 A4, the S3 is the perfect size for me. Oh the handling. The new A4 or S4 will probably feel too big handling wise. But I will test drive when it is available and think about it.

I have zero regrets, and I'm not talking about the present S4.

Yes, 'Oh the handling" indeed. Although I think a wider wheel-base would really help with some of the role.

I'll have to agree with all the comments made. My S3 pushes all the right buttons, from the size, the performance, the fit & finish, etc. As much as I thought I'd love the new M3, after trading with a friend of mine for a few days, I really wanted my S3 back!

I also like the fact that it makes my garage look bigger!!

I traded up from a 2013 Focus, and one thing I've really appreciated is that the turning radius is a LOT smaller in the S3 than in the Focus.

The new A4 looks kind of fugly.

Audi really should have just designed a bigger 8V.

That new grill they are slapping on these new Audis look hideous.

I think the new A4 and TT grills looks great. I would love it on the S3, and expect the 2017 facelift version will have it. The classic Aston-Martin shape is the best. Unfortunately Hyundai and Ford have used the classic shape as well.
