I'm going to try moving all my iTunes music on to an SD card rather than clogging up my iPhone. A couple of questions:
What types of SD cards (class, capacity etc) are best?
What is the best way to copy music from iTunes onto the card?

SDHC cards are fine - check your manual for supported max capacity. My A6 manual states 32MB but others have been able to get 64MB cards to work. If it's primarily music files, anything above a class 4 will work ok. Since cards are inexpensive these days, a class 6 is not much more costly and might be better if you plan on copying videos. Be sure to first format the card as FAT32.
The way to copy your iTunes music files to a card is to do so from the iTunes library folder and not directly from iTunes. If you want the songs to be organized in the MMI, use folders hierarchy with Artist>album>song. You could just dump all the songs into a single folder if you wished so long as the count doesn't exceed the MMI specs - again check your manual.

I use an Ultra SanDisk, 64 gb, if you have new iTunes music (meaning it DRM free, post 2009) you can just copy them. If you want to kill DRM on your old purchases,

If you have a lot of single songs from albums, or playlists, you should manually create directories otherwise you'll have a lot of directories with only one song in them.
