Thanks skitz_marz ! The 3M Pro v.4 PPF, for just the very front bumper, would have been around $500 at the shop in Pittsburgh. About $2K for all the things I got covered for that first round of PPF.
As I mentioned before.. choose your detail shop wisely. If you're in Pittsburgh, go to North Pitt Auto Spa. That is the only shop I recommend in the Pittsburgh area. Might cost more there, and they use XPEL (which is a better product), but Nate is the guy to see there for his attention to detail. Official detailer of Pittsburgh Cars 'N' Coffee.

Thanks for the info. I'm in south Florida, but i'm going to be looking into doing PPF on pretty much the Hood, Bumper, Headlights and mirror caps since i drive on the highway a lot for work, and i want to ceramic coat the entire car. I'm guessing I'm also probably looking at $2k-$2.5k for the PPF alone. did they wrap the edges for you?
1st round of PPF... Hood, fenders, front bumper, mirror caps, A pillars, rocker panels including bottom of doors, sides of back bumper and top of back bumper, headlights and behind door handles.
2nd round of PPF... Piano black panels on doors and behind side mirrors and interior center console

Good thinking. Wish I would have done this on my WRX a long time ago.. Hood and front bumper especially. Edges covered.
