Has anyone swapped to 225/45-18 from stock 225/40-18 tires? I'm thinking of doing this to achieve a more comfortable ride and want to know if there will be any clearance issues on a '23 A3 with sport suspension. Thx

For 5 winters I have been running 225/45-18 (235 does not fit) on my RS3. The clearance for the front wheels to the forward wheel well is tight when turning, but never had any rubbing. That is with 8 inch wheels. The big issue with the RS3 is finding wheels that clear the front calipers, but that should not be a problem with an A3.
