That's not how I read it at all. G 055 549 is a suitable R&R oil for the 0CK "per the terms of TPI 2049840". That is all the dual listing in the parts catalog implies, given the Note alongside that listing. Otherwise, it's use the oil that they were all built with, G 052 549.
The shifting of 504 engine oil from 5w-30 to 0w-30 is a completely unrelated subject, and driven by completely irrelevant matters to the use of the Torsen suited modifier in gear oil.
In the end, either is going to work out fine for you. But if it was me, if I didn't have the issue of concern in the TPI, I'd use G 052 549. That you have G 055 549 in hand already, run with it. As to the original question of why the odd bottle, as from the start, there's no way to confirm that unless you drop into a dealership and see they have that differing style as well.
