I recently retrofitted a ambient light kit from china on a audi a5 21 facelift. I was wondering if anyone have any idea on how to code the mmi in order to have the change color option there instead of doing it with an app. The car comes from the fabric with white lights if its worth mentioning. I have seen on forums that some people have done this on b9 but unsure if its the same procedure for the b9.5, I have access to obdeleven pro. would appreciate any help!!

The vehicle uses LIN bus controlled RGB LED units to implement the color selection. Is this aftermarket kit LIN bus controlled? Does it use the same LIN bus commands for the control mechanisms?

Hello, thanks for the reply. according to the seller this should be possible. He just doesn't provide this method, he says.
I believe they do use the same mechanism since you can control the brightness in the mmi with the original function.
