Hi all. Found some old posts but looking for the current thinking regarding the crash bar.
I am upgrading to the rs5 grill and wondering what people are doing about the crash bar. I can remove and paint or do a wrap. What’s the best way to hide it. If I am doing paint I am thinking flat or matte black. Any suggestions?

I think most just paint it black. That's what I'd do.

Redmist Racing sells a crashbar that is open in the middle for more airflow. He sells it as part of his DSG Cooler kit but also sells it separately. I installed one on my S5 & RS5. For the RS5 it will mount anything the standard bar will. I've got a PLM heat exchanger mounted on my S5. It comes in Black. Otherwise you can probably paint yours black. I orignally painted my S5 crashbar black before I installed the vented one from Redmist racing.

You'd know. Round sensors across the front bumper, same as across the rear bumper. US B9 seem to only have front and rear, or none. For MY18 A5, you needed Premium Plus or Prestige to get them. Premium only had a backup camera, and no park distance sensors. According to the order guide.
