My bad day got worse today. Tom’s light went on couldn’t even get to the next exit before I blew a tire. No problem I’ll just grab the spare! When putting on the lug bolts it was though getting them on so I’d put them on a bit then back them off and I got pretty close with most of them. Then a snapped a lug bolt… got a tow to a shop and they weren’t too optimistic about being able to extract that bolt. Anyone think I’d be able to or any other way to do it? Otherwise I think I’m looking at getting a whole new bearing. After doing the front two last month the back ones look even more difficult.
Forgot to show the bolt wasn’t cross threaded at all. All 5 were going on super tight and this one went before I got any snug. I’m guessing the spare is a lot thinner than my normal wheels so the thread engagement is more and it got into rusted threads or something.
