Any recommendations for exterior car care on a 2015 Convertible? Never owned a convertible and not sure how to care for the top.

There are some good videos on YouTube about caring for convertible tops. Use horsehair brush only, special cleaner and then water repellent spray. I just learned as I bought my SAAB vert a few years ago, my first one too. Most tops are canvas, some are vinyl.




I usd Forumula 303, Ragtop is another name brand. Easy to do, just follow directions, like doing in shade and a horsehair brush, never car wash soap or Dawn or the like. When I wash my car inbetween yearly top cleaning I just rinse thoroughly and brush and then rinse again and then wash the rest of the car. Chemical Guys and Griots Garage also offer their products

BTW, I personally would never go thru a car wash with a vert. Brushless or brush, the detergents can't be good for a top

Thanks, no car washes planned. Definitely need to treat, the water on the top does not bead up at all. Looks like I need to give it a good clean and treat with a repellent.
