I have a 2019 Audi A5 Sportback S-Line. I知 looking for caliper covers that fit but I知 not having any luck. I would paint them but they said I would have to paint them back before my lease is up. Anyone know where I might be able to find them?
If not, does anyone know the size of the brake calipers so maybe I can find a set that way?
I can tell you first hand that it is not difficult to paint the calipers back to aluminum. I did it with my A6. Do not add caliper covers. They look super tacky on every vehicle. Think.. spinning hub caps.See below. I chickened out on doing a more vibrant color and repainted my calipers aluminum using VHT Caliper Paint. Added a personal touch with the Black caliper plates with smoked S badges and clear coat. Not difficult to do at all. I don't typically judge anyone with their vehicle customization decisions but I am completely against caliper covers. Post paint, before I replaced those nasty stock rotors. This was right after I replaced the front and rear brake rotors and pads. Rotors and pads purchased through R1 Concepts. They have been a solid choice for me through 3 vehicles.
Great look! I 100 percent agree with you! Where did you get the black badge from and did it come with the S?
Thanks! I actually just primed and painted the stock plate black and bought a set of S4 (they were cheaper at the time) smoked chrome emblems from eBAY. The S and 4 emblems can be detached separately. I used some adhesive to hold the emblems in place on the plates. It's been some time now and the emblems have held up well. I did notice that the caliper paint is chipping slightly at the edges of the calipers but that has to be due to excessive pressure washing. I use a mobile detailer and he goes hard on the wheels and calipers. I'd have to say it was well worth the labor spent to do them myself.
