With virtual cockpit it's: settings >measurement units >speed. This sets the outer dial to kph, the center reading will still be in mph. Worked great in Germany to have both. The owners manual should have instructions on changing the center reading.

I don't know if you can change that at will. Mine got delivered like that since I was driving in Europe.
I know that when the car gets to the USA at the port as part of PDI, Audi USA will change back to miles that plus they will configure the navigation.
