Thank you! Great article! Seems that Alexa in the car is more befitting to a Yugo, than an Audi. However, the best part of the article was the link to get a free year of MyQ integration with IFTT. No real use for it, since mine is connected to HomeKit, but hey it’s free and sometimes I just want to talk to Alexa in the garage.

How do you like the MyQ? Does it play well with HomeKit?

i was thinking of getting it as a backup for my one door that seems to have interference instead of just getting an antennae extender.

also, the new CarPlay version looks like it might have a way to geocode an extra button on the split screen to open the garage door in the main, split screen.

I haven’t had any problems with it at all and when I’m outside doing work in the yard I can easily and handsfree open/close the garage door. Very convenient.

I have it. Hardly use it. Mostly to turn on my porch and house lights when I get near home. Nice to do it with voice commands rather than using my phone.

Ya, for the most part it sounds like this thing is mostly a dud, since it’s not as integrated as CP/AA. I let my invitation expire.
