i'm with tomi, i just put mine in the back, go buy a $20 quilted moving blanket to keep the dirt out of the inside of your car
way more security, better MPG and no bugs smashed to death on your handlebars that you have to pick out of your bar-tape..

Here is another thread on this subject: https://www.audiworld.com/forums/audi-a5-s5-rs5-coupe-cabrio-b9-220/roof-rack-2923612/
The SeaSucker (https://www.seasucker.com/) option mentioned toward the end of that thread look pretty neat.
Edit: Doh! Just saw the OP didn't want a roof option.

Forgive my slightly tongue-in-cheek response but isn't the whole point of a sportback to put sport equipment in the back?
Zeekah's post shows what this car is built for IMO, though I can understand wanting to keep dirty mountain bikes and window-fog-creating pairs of wet skis out of the cabin especially on such a premium vehicle.
For these I can offer no suggestions as I personally believe a roof rack is the best option for this vehicle (in fact both the A4/S4 and A5/S5 have factory mounts for roof rails -- locations are described in the manual I believe -- whereas any sort of tow hitch requires permanent frame and/or bumper modification, and/or significant effort to install.)
