You need to cut the chrome tips off and weld new black ones on, are you up for that? Someone on here or AZ painted them with high-temp engine paint and they looked pretty good. The other method is to cut the chrome ones off and Cerakote them, the coating they use on handguns etc.

This is, oddly, one of the few areas where something is easier on the A5. The A5 tips are just clipped on; easy to swap.

I just paint mine. Dropped the exhaust (last hanger on each side), scuffed the chrome and used a self etching primmer. Painted satin black. First try lasted a year. This time I’m trying the self etching primer to see it it lasts longer. For $20 if this only lasts a year I’m still ok with that, just part of my spring time cleaning.

Did you use high temperature paint? Similar to - https://www.eastwood.com/satin-black...p-coating.html or https://www.amazon.com/Krylon-K01618...000YQ0BNQ?th=1
