For those who use the MMI connect app, Audi just released a new iOS app called "myAudi" on the app store. It duplicates some of the functionality from the existing MMI connect app, with a different interface. Curious if anyone else is using it. I've been using MMI connect since I got my 2018 A5 in April, but it appears Audi will be switching over to the new myAudi app.
I realize this app applies to other new Audi models, not just those in this particular forum, but since I have a B9 A5 I posted here!

The app has been out in Europe for a while. Not sure what exactly the plan is in terms of the existing MMI connect app's future. This one looks cruder IMO. I installed it, but not sure why I would use it over the MMI connect app. It has mostly the same features, minus the Internet radio option. It has the calendar, contact and search destination combined and shows the upcoming calendar appointments with destinations, so that's a little quicker to use than in the MMI connect app. Seems to have the same share functionality as the MMI connect app as well. Since I don't really use the app directly most of the time and instead search for locations in Google Maps etc. and then share it to the MMI connect app in order to send it to the car I could use either one. There's no vehicle status functionality for me anyway having a B8, but the mileage trip tracker might be interesting. Have to play with it.
Sux - that's how I listen to Sunshine Live out of Germany (so I can reminisce on former my commutes along the orderly German Autobahn whilst I deal with obliviously incompetent US drivers on the interstate).
I'm been using the myAudi app since it was released last year. It was just an update yesterday.
It wasn't available in the US market until now. Incidentally, I can't log in with it - I just get "Server error: The server has sent an invalid reply".
Perhaps. Seemed about as expected for a new app from a non-software company, so not terribly surprised that it failed on the very first attempt to use it.
Nevermind, finally worked. Just took a long, long time and many retries.

Weird, I'm in Canada and have been using it since last year.
