I use cheap store-brand oil filters at whatever parts store is nearest to me for a Cayenne S 2.9TTV6 EA839. Great Blackstone results. 5k mile oil change interval.

I'm rolling with the Fram for now. I'm doing 5k interval oil changes on the A5 so it should be fine. TBH I think I just freaked out for no reason, just got worried I might damage the engine. I've been driving on this filter all over, put a few hundred miles on it already, no issues. Car seems happy. With that said going forward I'm gonna try to stick with the Mann. They aren't that much more expensive and I'm already saving a boat load doing it myself anyway.
