It's really just an eye thing, I think, with the wheel farther out from the body. I'll check again in the morning after everything has settled from the car being in the air for the install.

Also, please excuse the dirty wheels - this is what happens when you run out of wheel cleaner and forget to order more...

Yeah, probably lighting or the angle of the camera, the additional outward poke looks good!

Fronts on. Photos are before/then after. Very happy with the subtle change.

Could also be from jacking the car up and then letting it back down. I have noticed that can leave the wheels off camber, especially in the front. Once you move the car it returns to normal.

This. I've noticed it on my car. Every time I lift the car it takes a while for the suspension to settle back down again.

Related question: what is the largest spacer people are comfortable with? I ask as I have a line on a nearly impossible wheels type, however the offset is et 42. To get to my current configuration, I'd need a set of 22 and 27 mm spacers. That feels like a lot of spacer to add...

I know Audi makes Splash guards for the A5. Would these also fit the R/S5? Would they diminish the sportiness of the cars lines?

@DaveSNJ, the results of the spacers look great, what size did you go with?

@garberfc these are 12.5mm front and 15mm rear. I ordered this kit from EMD Auto. Very well made, and I'm happy with the look.

There's a thread on the forum with those that have the splash guards. I don't recall if they fit all models, but they're very unobtrusive looking.

Here's that thread...

Thanks to this thread I finally pulled the trigger and ordered that same kit from EMD. Should be here tomorrow. I have the splash guards installed already, so once I get the spacers mounted I will try to grab some pictures.
