Default It's a matter of trade-offs and priorities. I can't tell somebody what is the right choice for them,

but I want them to know that for every upside, there is a downside.

I seriously doubt you can get 22-24hp with NA tune. 1.8T gets roughly 25hp!

Default NA = Normally aspirated, 1.8T = Turbo. Easy to chip up a turbo

without other mods.

I know of 1.8Ts which have gone up to 300 bhp.

Maybe I should have said without other mods. You have the Milltek, don't you?

Default Yes but my baseline run was with the Milltek already installed.

I agree it should be easier to see tuning gains with a free-flowing exhaust already installed but can't imagine it has a huge effect (IMHO)
