Audi A5 / S5 / RS5 Coupe & Cabrio (B8) Discussion forum for the B8 Audi A5, S5 and RS5 Coupe and Cabriolet Model years 2009 - 2017

Is .00320 a good money factor? (7.68%) I've never leased but looking to be a good idea for my S5.

Default Sounds very high, likely the dealer has padded the buy rate MF for added profits..

I asked my dealer yesterday for 36 mo S5 lease money factor rates. The dealers buy rate is 0.00279, for 39 months its 0.00299, I think 24 months is 0.00279. These numbers were valid till 7/31..so i'm guessing audi is releasing new numbers for August very soon. anything above those values is likely a dealership adding profit, talk them down to the buy rate.

Have they told you residual values for your 2009 S5?

Default I was told 59% for 36mo, I'm not sure if your cars options make your residual higher or

if that is the new August residual for the S5. If you get a chance can you ask your dealer what the residual for your car on a 39mo lease would be? Thanks

Default 58% is base residual

Based on 15,000 miles per year
plus 2% for 12,000 miles per year
plus 3% for 10,000 miles per year

You also get plus 1% residual point for Audi Care

Default No, but you also need to consider the residual.....

Dealers usually can't compete with 3rd party lessors. Especially Audi financial Services.

I did my lease with here:
http://www.leasecompare.com/

It was the 3rd lease I've done with them, they usually can't be beat. Call them, ask for Jennifer, if they don't have the 2009 rates up yet. Easy transaction

Default Residual is good at 61 from AFS. I looked at the website...I will give them a call as the website

had no 2009 S5 info and clearly a lower residual.

Default Since you've never leased before, they have lots of good info on their site

they'll do good for you.
