Was at a local dealer yesterday checking out the model line up. A salesman mentioned that he thought the 2.0 liter engine would be offered soon on the A5. Haven't been able to find anything on the web in this regard. Can anyone confirm/deny ?

There was a mention in an Audi of America press release of the 2.0 coming for the cabriolet when it launches in the fall, so many expect it to be available in the coupe as well.

... it doesn't make sense financially for Audi to introduce another 2.0 engine A5 when they are not producing enough the 3.2 engine at this time - making A5 seems like a build on order car.

I'd assume so, since the 2.0T available in Europe is same as in the A4

Should be available for ordering sometime in spring or early summer and take delivery when the MY10 comes.

They seem quite enthusiastic about the Scirocco though. Anyone thinking of that car? Different class, I know, but still nice.
