Default 2010 A5 buyers

Anyone hear anything from dealers about release date from port and/or pricing. A5 buyers must be a patient bunch as the clock ticks on...

Pricing is not out. Should be out this week. Release from port will come after that. Sold orders first.

I dunno, I've been hearing "it'll come out this week or the next... blah blah blah" I hope its soon... I'm still debating either 2010 S4 or S5...

The lease rate is going to suck big time, guaranteed.

AofC_RR: Will Audi Financial load and lease rates for the 2010 model be released the same day as the pricing structure?

No, programs for purchase come a few days later, same with leasing programs. Don't expect to call your dealer the same day pricing comes out and have them work a lease. Most cars won't hit dealers for few days after pricing is released.

Yeah, my car is probably sitting in San Diego until pricing hits. I don't expect leasing to even be an option if it's anything like the 2009s. I've already got my purchase price squared away, just anxious to see what the invoice is and what the loan rates will be. If the rates are worse than last month's 2009 A5 rates, I'll be sad. May end up putting more money down and going with a shorter loan term.

Man look at outside lending sources. You should be able to get a rate in the 5s to 6s if you have GOOD credit and are in an equity position at 60 months. AFS has no love on the A5/S5.

Well, my dealer's rate in June for 2009s was 4.9% and I hadn't seen anything better than that from other sources. Rest assured, I'll be shopping around once I know the 2010 rates.

That's what I got from AFS for my June A5 purchase. I could have got a half-point less at my credit union, but AFS gave me the first two payments free so it worked out better.

But I thought those rates were part of the Summer of Audi event and not likely to be offered on the 2010s.
