Hi Anyone can help.

I did take to Audi last week and told the entire front will need to be replaced.. NOT GOOD NEWS!!

I have a 2011 A5 1.8 TFSI Carbriolet. I bought it with a front face lift to a newer a5 2013 or something. All seems to work

BUT

I get a warning when I use left indicator and same if I use right indicator and I have been told the park lights cannot be used independently so this will give me an issue with the MOT.

Audi says nothing they can do regarding the re-programming of the lights (which I hoped I could - great price for a great car.. however, this is why - ... ). They said the car will not recognise the units or lights and if they put the car 'online' for a diag then the manufacturer as part of the process would shut down the head lights etc.. altogether as its not part of the original model released.

Can anyone please either confirm what Audi are saying or give me an alternative solution other than replace the front and lights etc...

I did try 3 smaller garages and everyone said, take it to Audi.. But I am still stuck.

Would love to get any useful responses as its a bit of a downer on the car. It looks awesome but warnings beeps on first use and possible MOT failure is no good.

you need to find someone who is very good at VAGcom, VCDS, I have a 10 just went through a full swap to 13. All modules were reprogrammed.
