Took my 2010 S5 in today for the 25k service and a bad rattle I have had for awhile. Took a ride with the shop manager to document the rattle. I let him drive because you can hear it better driving. He said it was the center armrest. But he also found out my car had something wrong with the steering. It has always made a thumping sound at low speeds. Anyone know what this is. I have seen about the hose replacement but he said it was a bushing. Idk. Audi Dallas gave me a 2011 TDI Q7.

Here is a pic of my loaner. 2011 Q7 TDI. Nice power but not a fan of the Teak Brown. Kinda looks UPS truck-ish. It only has 900 miles on it and looks like someone washed it with sandpaper. All diesel engines should sound this good.

Nice loaner... any word from your service tech on carbon build up?

Nothing said about carbon build up. I didn't think it would be a concern with only 25k. I have always used 93 gas. Never has lost power.

Ok guys got my car back today. They called me as soon as it got done. So no paperwork yet to see what the fixed. They said the would mail me a copy. Keep you posted.
