While I have hit a 410 mile range on a full tank of gas before on the V8 S5, I never got a pic of it. Today, I went on a trip and covered 285.4 miles and still have 115 miles left (average 70-75 mph hitting 110-111 mph at one point).
285 used + 115 remaining = 400 miles. This is nearing 25 MPG (with 400 miles and 16 gallons).

My city driving is 18 - 19 MPG, much better numbers than the V6 supercharger
This current trip, with the 400 mile range, was around 75% highway and 25% twisty and steep mountain roads.

you go ahead and drive the full 400 miles then we'll see if that's possible lol
displayed range is not 100% accurate, as you get to 35 miles left the increments are very unpredictable, it'll hang on some miles displayed for quite awhile, and others not enough time. even with 5 miles left on range displayed there's still almost 2 gallons left in the tank, how is that for accurate display?
anyway 400 miles per tank is a dream...

btw mpg display is also off, very optimistic, once you do the calculation at the pump you'll see the difference
displayed speed though is spot on, surprisingly, exact as garmin gps well into ... speeds ;p

I get about 16 mpg with my 3.2 so if you're getting 18-19 with a s5 thats amazing. Bare in mind my drive is only about 5 miles each way and its usually stop n go.

Hahaha .. yeah 'Song Sung Blue' right after 'Sweet Caroline'.
It's fun cruising in the S5 with the best of the 1980s and 1970s songs.
Even the 50s and 60s has great ones. Even got disco, Terri Desario.
I'm at 305 miles today with 85 miles remaining. So, I'm now down to a 390 mile range. I still have 2 notches to go down. But the 20 miles I put on today is all city driving with 14 stoplights (7 stoplights each way to work).
I'm hoping to refuel at 360 miles, hoping I'd have 25-30 miles remaining.
In the pic below, I did 327 miles with 40 miles remaining. The gas indicator light did not come out yet, so I felt like I could have gone 350 miles before refueling. And yes, I drive in Dynamic mode but shift using the paddles when needed.
