All,
I am looking to replace my B&O stock sub with a 4ohm low-profile subwoofer (keeping the stock amp). My question is whether the stock amp will support a 4ohm load or will it run too hot/burn out from the higher current.
I noticed a posting a while back about replacing the sub with a 4ohm JL but have not seen much since.
Anyone replace their stock B&O sub with a 4ohm sub? Any issues with the stock amp? Run too hot, burn out, etc?
Thanks!

harder than an 8ohm unit. It is noticably louder but likely at the expense of the amplifier's longevity. I've had it configured for some time now, but plan to use a seperate Mono amp in it's place soon.
