A5 with 19" Y wheels Chromed..anyone seen this?
Hey guys,
I'm brand new to the forum. My 2010 A5 S-line with prestige, black/black/alcantara, 6 speed 2.0T will be here September 5th, and I'm SUPER excited. I did a little bit of AWFUL (I'm just a novice photoshop user) photochop work to see what my new car would look like with 5% tint, and also with the OEM wheels Chromed. Has anyone seen a car on the forum with the Y wheels chromed? What do you think?

Ok..36 people have viewed this, and not one person has said anything or said if they've seen it or what they think?? Why is this? I guess I'm just used to forums that everybody gets involved...

The tint looks good.... that's I am doing here soon... 5% all around the car.
I don't like the chrome on the Y wheels... i don't like the Y wheels that much.... I am getting some custom wheels with staggered fitment...
I'll post some pics by the end of the week...

An S5 equipped the same way would run me about $60,000, and I honestly don't want to fork out the $10,000 extra...not to mention the fact that I'd probably have my license suspended within a month and about 10 speeding tickets.
I LOVE the S5...but my new A5 S-line satisfies my need for an AMAZING looking car, with great luxury, quick, and fun to drive, with great gas mileage. The S5 is incredible..just not for me for my only car.Cheers!

I saw some chromed Y wheels at my dealer some time ago...didn't like them, the chrome detracted from the design details of the wheels IMO. The Y is one of my favorite Audi rims (behind the RS4 style) and I really like the "hypersilver" factory look!

Not feeling the chrome, if you want a bit of flash how about the Hartmann HS5 wheels, they have a machined face and lip that makes the wheel pop a bit.
