Hey guys,
I'm brand new to the forum. My 2010 A5 S-line with prestige, black/black/alcantara, 6 speed 2.0T will be here September 5th, and I'm SUPER excited. I did a little bit of AWFUL (I'm just a novice photoshop user) photochop work to see what my new car would look like with 5% tint, and also with the OEM wheels Chromed. Has anyone seen a car on the forum with the Y wheels chromed? What do you think?
Cheers!

Our new Black A5 PPSport just got delivered yesterday. Beautiful car. However, my wife loves chrome wheels. Saw your postings earlier and wondered how the Y spoke ended up looking chromed. Do you have any new photos? I guess the question is do we go with after market wheels (I'd prefer not to) or find out where to buy chromed Y spokes or get them chromed ourselves. Any suggestions? I know chrome isn't for everyone but some people just gotta have it.

Two words for chrome on an Audi

Tint of course. The chrome, no. Not on this style wheel. The problem with chrome on many rims is the characteristics of the spokes or face gets lost with all the reflection going on. It's hard to see what direction the spokes are curved, what angle they are cut, and how thick they are. The chrome hides all when light causes areas of bright and dark.
