The only 2012 Guide that I'm finding online is the 2012 Canadian Product Guide, and that guide, on page 5, does indeed list the rear camera.
I have the 2012 A5 USA Order sheets (Guide?), obtained from my Audi dealer, but nowhere in the USA info (for the A5 at least) does it mention the rear view camera.
Hopefully thats just a mistake in the USA Order info. It wouldn't make sense to eliminate that feature, solely for the USA market, especially since its been available (part of certain option groups) for the last four model years.
