No... your car reaches the factory order bank on the day you place your order and put down your deposit, as "factory order bank" just means that your order has been entered into their computer order system (unless you order an R8, as there is simply too much demand and so little supply to place everyone in the computer... my old man put his deposit down for an R8 in Nov '07 and he isn't anywhere near entering the computer/factory order bank). I ordered my car on January 10th, which is the date the computer gives as to when my order was put into the factory order bank. I didn't get a single official update as to the status of my car until July 19th! So, unless your dealer has an allocated build week slot pre-selected for your order (which mine didn't, although they could lie to you about it), or an estimated build week for your order on their computer system, then they really don't have any idea when your car will arrive other than their best guesstimate (and don't always trust that guess... my dealer said I should get my car in April, but that turned out to be way off as I won't see the car until September 29th, unless there are any delays.) So basically, factory order bank means ****. Once your order has been "released to the manufacturer," then expect to see your car at the dealer around 65-75 days after that. Which means that if you are expecting your car by Nov 17th, then your order should be released to the manufacturer sometime in the first two weeks of September. Good luck!

"Factory Order Bank" means released to manufacturer! 2-3 months is a good eta for delivery!
