Default anyone else have an issue w/advanced key
not locking when you use your thumb but works if you use your index finger? i talked to two people at my dealer and both knew exactly what i was talking about.

Default assuming you mean the door handle...yes, but...
I have the same issue (if that is the right word), but since I have been blessed with both a thumb and forefinger (in fact I have two sets), it isnt a big deal :-)

I frequently use my thumb. But if your fingers are cold, it won't work. Maybe you have a cold thumb?

Default you can lock the car from the door handle??? Cool.... never knew that.
Was actually a little bitter than a still had to reach into my pocket to lock the car, when everything else was key-less.

does not always work for me on the first try if its very cold out, or wet

Default my thumb works if...
... my hand is not around the handle (with my fingers inside the door handle)

- sensor inside the handle negating the attempt to lock?

try your thumb "without" holding the handle...

Hah! I have the same problem, index finger works without any problems, thumb only occasionally...
