Default anyone else having brake issues with their 5 series?

Recently my brakes have gotten very funky. At intermittent points, the pedal will just drop to the floor when i go on the brakes and the brakes aren't stopping well at all. I have about 2800 miles on the car and this is pretty scary. Happened this morning again when i was pulling into a parking spot, almost slammed another car.

I dont know very much about brake systems, but it's going in for service monday...

I know exactly what you are talking about. My father had a A8 and the same thing happened to me when I was driving it. Brake goes to the floor and even though I was only going about 30mph, I heard tires being locked up as I panic and push the pedal further down. It did stop just shy of the car in front but sure the brakes aren't working as there is no way the car will stop so badly. If I had been on the freeway, I would have slammed into the car in front. Long story short, took the car into service, dealer couldn't find anything wrong. My dad sold the car back to the dealer as AOA wouldn't budge and said the car is fine. I made a complaint to AOA but they couldn't care less. I think this brake issue only happens to audi cars with electronic hand brake. I myself has a RS4 and hopefully, this will not happen to me as it is still a manual handbrake car. Maybe I should do a poll and see how many audi owners have experienced their brake pedal go to the floor and have very bad braking when that happens. The only remedy I can find for that situation is to shut down the car. Pull the key out and then restart the car again like rebooting a computer. This resolved the problem when it happened in the A8 and I was able to drive it home with no problem. Good luck especially when dealing with AOA.
