I find it ridiculous that when I bring in my S5 for service I leave in a VW beetle or compact Kia and have to figure out how to pay for gas like when I rent a car at Hertz.

And I'm not a primmadonna either - I got a loaner when I had an infiniti and my wife gets one for her freakin Toyota Minivan.

I always get a new A4 for loaner car.

My dealer is owned by the Penske conglomeration - I always get and A4/3 loaner.

The dealer I usually go to has only Audi loaners (almost all A4s). I do believe they also have 1-2 A6s for people bringing in the larger models.

You might want to try another dealer. Not sure where you're going now but I think there are a few dealers not too far from the main line. I have heard good things about Audi Willow Grove but they might be too far from you.

It is a matter of dealer. Some do not use Audi loaners just due to the cost of keeping up a fleet.

Does Willow Grove do any loaners for routine service intervals? Since I only have 1,100 miles on mine, I haven't been in yet. I automatically assumed a German Lux dealer had loaners available. I never thought to even ask.

I'd say most dealers are using Audi's, but some still don't. I've noticed a pattern of the larger dealers generally have them. I am sure there are exceptions.

Audi Willow Grove utilizes Enterprise Rental. Most of time, you get Chevy, Dodge or VW Jetta from Enterprise. More importantly, you need to call ahead to make sure there will be non-Audi loaner available.
