Tracking devices will very likely be offered by Audi as option with one of the next model years...

Default Depends on how you look at it. Even though the parts are not available yet...
...a factory like retrofit might be worth waiting until they are (assume there will be a soon release). If you don't wanna go that route take it just FYI.
