Interesting observation. I'm assuming you mean this Saturn Coupe?
I personally am having trouble seeing the resemblance, other than them both being coupes...
The entire Audi line will eventually have that upsweep under the door, including the B8 A4.

I make photographs for a living. Have since 1982.
On some self promos I have spent weeks on a single photograph. Yes, the photos you took in Pshop and changed were yours to use without a copyright restriction but did you credit the person who came up with the concept, the crew involved, the photographer? You grab some stuff off the web, change some colors and want others to know you did that?

Credit for what? Overlay with hue variations? Did youpost any credits for author of this pictures?
I work with PS for last 15 years and color change like that take about 30 sec. I can't believe that you are "crying" about credit for that while it is based completely on Audi's studio copyrighted picture. I don't see that you placed any credits for that (?) Going further with your "logic" you should give also some credit to Photoshop team for Overlay and Hue filters because you couldn't do it without those tools.
This is really lame...but if this hurt yo so much I used my own overlay....not a biggie (I like it darker anyway).

In Cerfsud's defense
Credit is implied from the image itself <i>"European model shown."</i> IMO, most enthusiasts who frequent the audiusa.com website would recognize the origin of the images. Concerning credit, just an academic point, but all sides should properly reference their materials...a little respect avoids any conflict over any perceived plagiarism.

Crying? Jeeze.
All I said was "hey, it would've been nice to mention that you were building on my work I just did for you guys." I suppose I might not've cared if you didn't lace up the image with your tags. But anyway, yeah I realize it's Audi's work, and I didn't say so because I figured it was quite obviousuly implied (who else has studio-looking shots of the A5/S5)?
Again, it was just a suggestion. You guys can quit pegging me down as some copyright freak. I registered to post those pictures for you guys and I just felt a little "ripped off" (please no life stories about how it doesn't matter because you got "ripped off" so much more at whatever else, or it's "the usual" so I should get over it) when it looked like you took it and claimed it as your work.
*I* would've said "here's an image based on x's color photoshops," but evidently I'm in a seemingly tiny minority.
Anyway, I hope you guys liked the photoshops. The masking is what took me the most time. Obviously color balancing it out and, in the case of that black, dropping the brightness by 75, didn't.
