Gone is the cool three spoke.

Its been substituted for a rather bland looking 4 spoke model. Looks like I'll be hunting down the euro wheel just like the rs4 guys

whatever that means. I asked the Audi regional rep about torque vectoring, mag ride, and drive select. I then told him that I planned to do an ED in the spring, but he said that none of those features were "in the cards."

So, being the perennial optomist, what does that really mean?

I just got off the phone with Audi of America @ 1-800-FOR-AUDI (367-2834. Here is what I was just told, it will not be a part of the S5 as of yet and there are no plans for the following year. He did say that those plans could change but nothing is in the works for it to be available yet.

Did you happen to mention that you just saw it in a video of an S5? Just curious if they gave an explanation for that.

Certainly Audi and the dealers don't want it widely known there are some very good features coming only months after the initial US release...they want to move whatever units they can between Nov &amp; then. Lane Assist, Side Assist, &amp; Drive select are a lot of great, extra features that could jepardize their sales until the spring. The 4-spoke wheel is bizzare, but there's no denying all those features are there and ready. I can't imagine Audi would put these features in even a press demo unit if they weren't ready for prime time until the next model year.

I did in fact. I told that, that was the reason for me asking and provided the youtube link. He said that he would be unable to view the link at Audi ( audi took away that web browsing feature) but he would ask internally. After getting a call back in 15 minutes that was his answer.
