Yes. A thousand times yes.
The B&O system has horrible bass. People argue that the system is made to be balanced. I can see where they are coming from, but even though I often listen to R&B, I like a little more bass even if I'm just listening to some classic rock.
A sub and a separate amp are in my future.

I also like more bass and to feel the music. Curious to what you installed in regards to the sub and seperate amp. I want to do the same but don't want to lose trunk space
