Interesting that no one has piped in to say that Meteor Gray is being replaced with a slightly different color for 2012.
As far as the wait is concerned, it is usually is 3-4 months. My S5 arrived just under 3.5 months from when the order was placed, though there were other S5's that arrived a bit sooner than 3 months (dealer configured models anyway).
re: Sprint Blue, other than it becoming an Exclusive color for the 2012 S5 (never was a standard color for the A5), I absolutely love it and can live with it any day of the year
I had considered Meteor Gray before seeing Sprint Blue in person, but my second choice would have been Ibis White with the Black/Silver Alcantara (also no longer available in a 2012 S5, much less an A5).

Agree 100%. IMO black looks the best . . . when clean, which requires a lot of work. There's nothing like the contrast between black, the stainless mirrors & windshield, LED lights, and a set of clean rims!
If you don't like to wash and detail, go with another color. Here on the east coast it's really tough in the spring with the pollen. You can wash the car one moment and then BAM, the next thing you know the car's got a nice greenish hue to it.
