Hey give the guy a break. He's just trying to provide some helpful hints to be able to cruise the Autobahn while getting better mileage than a Prius or similar hybrid.

Now obviously I will never achieve the acceleration, top speed or gas mileage of a v8 S5 with my slow gas guzzling v6 S4. However, I have discovered a few helpful hints of my own:

Turn off radio or other music source - good for 5-6 mpg gain
Dim dash lights - another 4-5 mpg gained
reduce tire pressure - less weight equals aproximately 3 mpg for every 4 psi reduction
debadge car - another 3-4 mpg due to less weight and better aerodynamics

I'm going to test a few more but so far I'm averaging 48mpg while cruizing at 170mph.
