Default Black or Blue? Opnions please.

It is time to finalize my order and I'm having a hard time picking a color. I'm leaning towards a special order color Mugello Blue, with black interior, but everyone I ask thinks Black will look classier. I think the Mugello Blue would look great with the chrom mirrors, aluminum wheels and against the black interior with gray stitching. I thought I was going to get White with Tuscan interior but when I went to look at a Tuscan interior yesterday it looked more orange than I expected. I now think the Tuscan would look great with the Black exterior. You know it's a nice car when your toughest decision is color.

Thanks!

Default Both are great.

I agree, you have a tough decision here. My dealer nearby currently has the Black/Tuscan Brown, and it looks awesome.

They also just sold a Muguello Blue/Black RS4- it also looked incredible. I do have to say, for the RS4, the Blue was the correct choice.

as for the S5, you cannot lose either way! Go with what your heart says...you will love it!

Good luck!

Default Blue shows swirls more easily, while black shows dust more. Pick your evil ;-P

I think Tuscan would be spectacular in a black car. Maybe grey for the blue car? It's a tossup between it and black interior. A tan interior would give it more of a luxury (vs sporty) slant. Depends what you want.

Default would the phantom black show more swirls than the black?

my '02 S8 was that dark metallic blue (can't recall the name of the blue), and it was a PITA to keep swirl free- but it looked great after a detail....

All things equal, metallics usually hide swirls better than pearls, and pearls better than flats

Default I'd go with the Blue, not as common and looks great

Of course this is my biased opinion after 2 shades of blue in my history (ocean and moro)

:-)
