Default Brake Initialization Not Done
I learned that the mechanic did not perform the brake initialization after replacing my rear brake pads. Is that a problem and can in be done now, about 1,000 miles driving after the pads replacement?

You mean "bedding the pads"? It'll be fine, and nothing you can do about it now anyway.
