I personally love the S5 in red. Some good, dark tint just makes it look extra hot. Seems to be easy to keep clean.

I absolutely love it! No regrets... however, I'm young and enjoy all the attention I can get. This car - literally stops traffic and pedestrians. I can look in my rearview and watch the heads turn as I drive past. One time I was getting gas right next to an S5 in meteor, and some guy pulled right past him to talk to me about my car.

I imagine that's not for everyone.

The color takes a wax well, but I find that the sideskirts and fenders show black dirt from the roads near me. I wipe it down with a clean cloth periodically. Also, especially after a rain, a dark line of dust/dirt will accumulate across my clearbra, actually making it noticable. I need to carefully run a toothpick across to get rid of it somewhat. I wouldn't say that this color is low maintenance. My last car was black, and I wanted a change, so when I saw this in the showroom... I had to have it.

But, the car is barely a year old from the factory at this point. We'll see how the color holds up.

p.s. I once overheard some people talking about my car and calling it "laser-colored". It's a unique red, for sure.

glaive, the red has to be a lot easier than your previous black car, correct? dust can't possibly show as bad...

My last car was black as well and the Brilliant Red definitely hides swirls better.

It was not my first choice but as my wait time was only six weeks due to a cancelled order at the time of delivery, I didn't have a lot of choice. That being said, I love the color on this car It does attract a lot of attention though!

nothing wrong with getting attention, unless your speeding, but if you aren't, nothing wrong with it.
