Had the same problem with my 2011 S4. Only had 3800 miles on it and it burned.

It's normal to have various smells and sounds from a car.
All of the things mentioned are normal.

For others than the OP, common for exhaust or cat converter, but since no one mentioned it, how hard driven before parked and "smelt" sometimes factors in as well, particularly with the brakes.
