Bye guys. I bought a BMW 645ci today. Audi blew it.

Re: Congratulations for not getting the S5, I think they blew it too
"And Congrats to Mrtorts on the BMW, it has more feedback and driver interaction with the road than an Audi can ever dream about."
You don't honestly believe that do you? Sure Audi USA might have some issues with their dealer network and could improve on some things, but come on get real, the cars are simply excellent.

instant gratification. Not nearly as many in
US order a car as in Europe. That's part of the reason the US order book is simplified. I prefer to order and wait for the specific vehicle optioned the way I want.

Yeah I believe it. It's common knowledge most Audi's are numb and detached compared to BMW
You picked up a car magazine in the past decade? Audi has astounding build quality and fit and finish, and while they bring powerful engines and high-tech features to the market, they have never been noted as very involving cars to drive. Steering systems like servotronic dull all of the sensations from the front tires, and the steering is overly boosted and artificially light. Look, I drive an Audi, they are great cars, but they just don't have that intimate level of road feel that you get in a BMW.

Re: No. Not all are impatient.......
I totally agree, although I really like the 3 series coupe, where I live I'm already seeing waaaaay to many of them & will probably see 10 times as many in about 2yrs. One of the main reasons why I like Audi is the fact that you don't see many of them on the road.
