Default Tried it-wasn't good for the paint.

Plus, it's faster and easier to blow the car off with the air compressor.

I have to disagree. Never had scratches or problems with CA Car Duster. Audi sells similar product

Default I have used one for 20 years now... a great way to get the "light" stuff off easy.

But not good if it's anything more than dust. You'll just end up dragging the crap across the paint and causing swirl marks. So, relatively clean car, clean duster, no rain or turd marks, and it's a go. My overall method is using the duster and wiping the car down with a damp rag after. This has yeilded to ZERO car washes since new (bought latest car in February). Water is the enemy. Of course, this isn't real possible in other regions with foul weather (I'm in SoCal). One tidbit... when they are new, they have too much "oil" on them and leave streeks. Wrap it up in some paper bags and the oil will soak out onto them and not on your car. Good luck!

10 years plus, no problems. Anyone use Griot's waxless duster?

Default They're good, just remember to wipe it on some newspapers before you start...

...to get rid of the film of wax on the duster threads.

Default Griot's waxless duster doesn't work as well.....

tends to move the dust around and not really remove it.
