Sure. Consider someone who either travels to cities with strict enforcement of the noise ordinance..
... or someone who wants to have a mellow sound for traffic, but a raw sound for spirited driving.

Find someone who does aftermarket tuning for Ferraris and ask them if they can order an S5 exhaust.
Be aware that a Capristo will be significantly more expensive than most exhausts avalable in the U.S., save for MTM.

I wish I could change mine sometimes.
My exhaust is pretty loud, and I've heard a few people here have similar set ups to mine.
Europa has a good point about staying with 'legal' limits for sound as I've certainly caught a stare from several police, but never been cited/pulled over for it.
For me it's driving with passengers who aren't exactly car fanatics. The drone can be a little overwhelming in the backseat, especially over long distance trips.

The S5 sports exhaust is a unique sports exhaust system which
is back pressure-controlled.
It is a completely new designed sports exhaust including middle muffler.
Most of the valve-controlled exhaust systems work dependent either on speed or
rpm. But the motor is neither influenced by the speed nor by the revolutions per
minute, but by the back pressure.
Our sports exhaust is freely programmable, that means one can programme the
back pressure on which the exhaust gas valves open. This is made via remote
control and you have 3 different modi
- cruise modus - the exhaust gas valves open later
- sport modus - the exhaust gas valves open earlier
- open modus - the exhaust gas valves remain open
The price of 1 unit S5 sports exhaust is Euro 2.850,-- ex works Germany.
Freight charges to San Francisco are approx. Euro 300,--.
