Default Car Hesitation or Jerk?

Hey everyone,

3.2 L 2009 A5 owner here.

I noticed that the car jerks like its not getting enough fuel, especially when its cold.

This is from first to second gear. The jerk is so significant that my car often stalls because of it. Anyone wanna shed some light into this.

I notice this every morning until the car warms up. The one - two shift is always notchy and also harder (even when the car is warmed up) to be smooth.

stalling sounds really wrong. I'd have someone look at it.

This has happened to me a few times, but my car has never stalled. That being said if my car is very cold I just let out the clutch slowly anticipating the stall. Once I get past 20 MPH it doesn't happen again. When it does happen (3 times that I can remember) it only did it during the first start of the day.
