Reminds me of the story of the very first Porsche 911 Turbo to be brought into the US by Porsche. They had the car in a walled & fenced compound in NYC, where they "thought" it would be safe. Not quite. Thieves came along with a CRANE and lifted the car out!!
So don't worry about the car...just drive it, and keep it insured.
