CD vs. Ipod: Any difference in sound quality on B&O?

Due to compression, I believe I can hear a difference on my modest home stereo, with CD's delivering more dynamic sound than MP3's. Just wondering how noticeable it was on the B&O.

Most definitely.
But as you point out, it's ths source (ipod) not the B&O. (but you can't beat the convenience - I can live with the difference in sound, versus, swapping out cd's continually)
The quality of the source material is going to be more apparent, the better the sound system you are listening on.
